LIFE IN DENVER

There are several new posts on here now, five actually. I tend to wait and post tons of stuff all at once. Sorry.
We have had some really wild weather here. In the morning it is hot! Then every afternoon we get massive lightning and thunder storms that cool everything off. It's pretty cool to listen to the constant thunder. Sometimes we will sit out on the balcony and watch the lightning. This picture was cool because the cloud was so bright you almost couldn't look at it, but it had dark clouds around it.This was taken after one of the storms passed over us. The sun came out behind us and was shining on the buildings across the street, but you can still see how dark the sky is behind them. Calvin said these are hail clouds. We saw these after we heard a tornado warning on tv. They look really cool. You can see them better if you click on them to make them bigger. We got some outdoor carpet and put it on our balcony. This is Calvin and a friend, Rick, getting it down. Rick has worked with Calvin at several different places. They have known each other for years. He was my boss when I worked for Rocky a few years ago. He is a really nice guy. He got a job at Sierra Nevada with Calvin and stayed with us for a few days while he was looking for a place to live.
On July 3rd, we got a call from our old bishop, President Jaramillo. He is in the stake presidency now, hence the President. His family and another family from our old stake were passing through Denver and wanted to meet up with us so we went to lunch with them. It was so good to see them again. We were a pretty big crowd, six adults and nine kids! We didn't get to spend much time with them because they were headed back to Utah and still had a long drive ahead of them. We were happy that they thought of us though.

Lots of fun pictures. Looks like you guys had fun with Ty. I wish it cooled off here when it rained. It gets so muggy and humid the heat is unbearable! Miss you guys!
