It's Official! December 20, 2008

Calvin got his security clearance. So, we are moving to Denver. His start date is January 26th. We are still not sure what's going to happen with the house, but we are trying to have faith that it will all work out. There is so much to do here still so I will be staying for a few months. I am planning to go with him to Denver to find a place to live and get stuff arranged there and then I will most likely take the train back home. I am excited for that. I have never been on a train so it will be a new experience. It is cheaper for a train ticket than it is for gas or a plane ticket.

Strange! December 15, 2008

So strange! Wal-Mart called me yesterday. They said that laying off all of the temps was not what they were supposed to do. They were only supposed to lay off some of them. So they apologized and asked me to come back for two weeks. So, I am working again. My last day will be the 26th. I was sad because I had to work Christmas Eve, then I was happy because I didn't have to work it, now I'm sad again because I have to work until 6:30 p.m. I guess it could be worse. Tyler has to work the graveyard shift Christmas Eve and Christmas night AND New Years Eve and New Years Night! I feel bad for him.
