Well, the bad news just keeps on a comin'! Wal-Mart's sales are way down so they laid off all their temporary cashiers today. Of course, that's what I was, so I am out of a job. I got to work this morning and tried to clock in and it said my badge was invalid so I asked them in the office and they just told me to have a seat. I was thinking "Oh Crap!! What did I do wrong?" They were very nice about it and I could tell they didn't want to lay people off. They said that I was still eligible to be re-hired, so I'll probably just wait until we get to Denver and apply over there. I saw a couple of other people going through the same thing as me while I was there. On a better note, Calvin finished his paperwork for his security clearance and got it submitted. That's a huge relief to have that taken care of. Hopefully the rest of the process will be quick.
